Sacred Synergies: Programs + Events

Interfaith Art Connection
February 6, 2011

Sacred Synergies was the inspiration behind the formation of a collaborative program for ninth and 10th graders, Interfaith Art Connection, that engaged an interfaith dialogue by using the arts as its platform. Put together by Congregation Emanu-El and St. Ignatius Church, including the participation of the Contemporary Jewish Museum’s Teen Art Connect program the group was led on a tour of Manresa Gallery and St. Ignatius Church. A group conversation took place after the tour of the exhibition to discuss the similarities and differences between Christian and Jewish ritual objects.
