Paul Begheyn, S.J., Director of the Netherlands Institute of Jesuit Studies in Amsterdam and Archivist of the Dutch Jesuit Province in Nijmegen, discussed the origins of the copperplates and their discovery in 2000 in De Krijtberg in Amsterdam.
Biography
Paul Begheyn, S.J. is the former Director of the Center for Faith and Culture at Ignatiushuis (Amsterdam). Currently he is Director of the Netherlands Institute of Jesuit Studies in Amsterdam, as well as Archivist of the Dutch Jesuit Province in Nijmegen.
